The theme of the 2019 Red Star Line conference is “Thinking and Living the Good Life.” Graduate students from a wide array of universities and backgrounds will be giving presentations on what it means to live well in contemporary society, how we can know the right or best way to live, and the role of thought in the enterprise of human life. Having originated as a biennial conference between Fordham University and the University of Antwerp, the Red Star Line conference aims to bring together graduate students that work in different areas in order to think through a singular theme and search for commonalities and intersections among a broad array of approaches. All are invited to attend and a program will be released in the near future.
