We are saddened to report the death of our beloved colleague Ray Grontkowski.
During his nearly 60 years at Fordham, Dr. Grontkowski dedicated his whole self to educating, challenging, and inspiring generations of Fordham students and families to think with an engaged mind and discerning heart about philosophical issues of life and death. Professor Grontkowski taught close to 16,000 Fordham students, and this spring marked his 117th semester of service to the University. Dr. Grontkowski will always be remembered for his practical wisdom, patience,
astounding organizational skills, and Ignatian care.
